Alright, so, Phantom and Ro-Matt have their respective complaint and non-complaint bars, but, I decided that, since I'm in a really excellent frame of mind and more happy with my life than I've been in a long time, that I'm gonna open up an advice hut! So, got a problem? Need a few kind words or some help with something? Post it here and GuruServo69 will help you out! Consider it to be like a buddy that you can talk to and get some help from whenever you want!
So, what can I help you with today?

This thread will be much better than the movie "The Love Guru" right?

I wonder why something like this hasn't been done before?

Well, I guess I could ask something, just to get it going...
How can I get my husband to finish chores? Not do them, finish them. When he does dishes he never wipes the counters. When he does laundry he folds the clothes, than leaves them stacked on the bed or floor for days instead of putting them in the damn closet. He takes his beer bottles into the kitchen but never rinses them or puts them in the recycling!

This thread will be much better than the movie "The Love Guru" right? The best advice you can give: "Never see The Love Guru."

Alright, hmmmmm, the best advice I can give is to perhaps stop doing little things that he expects you to do. Or just do them halfway. Like, if he expects you to cook dinner, just cook it halfway. I'm sure once he bites into a half prepared chicken or a mostly cold burrito, you can pretty much persuade him that half ass doing something isn't really the best way to get things done. Hope that helps. If not, I'll come up with a plan B for you. Servo

TomServo69:
It was nice of the princess to invite me over for a picnic, eh Luigi? However, I've found that she's been kidnapped by that creepy Bowser. And that she is now a permanent guest at one of his seven koopa hotels. He dares me to find him. What should I do?

Well, I'd just skip the first few castles, cause, the princess isn't in those. You may find some warp pipes though. Those will help. And, grab the axe at the end of bridge, he'll fall in.
Hope that helps.

Alright, Master Tom, I actually have somewhat of a dilemma. Right now I'm working at Block Buster, it's not an especially good-paying job, but as you can imagine, it has its nice perks and everything. However, now that I have finally stayed there for an entire year, I have a choice of whether or not to take another job, and possibly make more money and more work. Or I can apply for a Shift Lead position in my current job, and wonder what I could have gotten. Thoughts?

I worked at Blockbuster from 95-97...they treat their employees pretty shi**y at least from my experience...but the 5 free videos a week was nice...is that still the case...probably better now huh?...anyway I don't really fit in with the corporate mentality so what do I know...so I leave you to GuruServo...and speaking of...what about the suspenders?...how do they look?

They look... umm..... great.... aherm! Anyway. Yeah, there's still 5 video rentals, but now you get one extra rental for any video game that's been out over a month. And yes, Corporate is still as dumb as a bag of hammers, but they try.

Does Blockbuster have a significant future in terms of their physical stores? They have a reputation for being dumb, like you say, their prices seem to go up more than other movie rental companies, and I'd guess that things like Netflix are only going to make them look worse and worse in the future.
