I thought the first act was hilarious, what with all the jabs at Steve Jobs & iPhones.
Once the singing boil showed up, I was embarrassed for the show. What a terrible gag based on an even worse pun. I know they were trying to get Fry to get in hot water (hot vomit?) with Leela, but surely there was a better plot angle than that.

The boil thing was stupid. It was an okay episode but they could do better than this... I almost feel like they phoned this one in.

Loved the first two episodes; last night's, not so much. It did feel like a recent Simpsons episode (topical humor), especially with Susan Boil. The iPhone stuff was okay, but really? A year-old joke on Futurama? Could've been better.
I did love Bender's dancing, though. That just got cuter.

Newest episode was my favourite one so far. It felt a bit more like "classic" Futurama.

Hey guys, I missed last night's episode (called it an early night). Was it a repeat or a new one?

It was new. It was pretty funny. Fry found Da Vinci's lost invention plans, and it went from there.

That was pretty hilarious. Overall, I've liked the new episodes - there have been a few clunkers, but for the most part they've been decent to good. Much better than some other rebooted shows, like that one about the guy with a family.

You have to realize... New Family Guy and old Family Guy share the same characters, and the same name, but that's about it.
The original Family Guy, each show had a plot, with a liberal dose of cutaway gags thrown in each episode.
The reboot Family Guy is a loosely connected bunch of cutaway gags, with a slim plot thread thrown in there so everything sort of makes sense.
Both are funny, but in much different ways.
Honestly, I think that American Dad is closer in tone to old FG than new FG is.

I used to be a HUGE Family Guy fan when I was in High School; back when it was originally airing. It came back my sophomore year of college, and I watched the first two new seasons, and while it was funny, I didn't find it as funny. I've cooled on Family Guy altogether. I don't even watch anything on Fox any more.
Futurama has better writing than Family Guy. It always has. So, even if a few of the new episodes I haven't found awesome, they're better than most things being put out now.
I'm also anxiously anticipating the next half-season of Venture Brothers.

I don't mind the change in Family Guy's structure, it's just that the biggest problems with the early seasons (poor joke setup/delivery, one-note characters, discarding characterization for the sake of a joke) became far more apparent, while the humor level couldn't seem to balance it out like it did early on. That's all my personal opinion, though, and there's generally some laughs to be had in any episode.
