If Cinematic Titanic re-released the first seven studio shows as live DVDs, would you buy them?
Just to remind everyone, the first seven are The Oozing Skull The Doomsday Machine The Wasp Woman Legacy of Blood Santa Claus Conquers the Martians Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks Blood of the Vampires
If you've already got the studio releases, would you double-dip for live releases? Would you get them all? Some? None? Not sure?
Personally, I'd get them all. Live adds a spontaneity that makes the studio releases feel a little flat to me.

After seeing a few of the earlier studio discs, I agree that the live ones are much better. So yeah, I'd definitely consider it.

If the DVD extras were compelling enough I would definitely consider buying live versions. I have no idea what "compelling extras" means but if they come up with it, I would re-buy.

I don't think I would double-dip unless they were substantially rewritten.

A good question! I would probably select the live version over the studio one for ones I don't already own, since it feels more like "being there." But if, as Sky says, they were basically two different shows, maybe.

Most definitely yes. As a matter of fact, I bet I'd hardly ever watch the studio version. I like them, but I love the live ones, much to my surprise.

I wouldn't, probably. I think the reason Alien Factor and East Meets Watts are so good is because of the movies lending themselves to the hilarity.

I wouldn't buy Live versions of the older titles but I would instantly buy studio versions of the live ones they have released in a heartbeat.

Considiering that I bought Plan 9 from Rifftrax 3 times, I probably would.
But, as much I love the live stuff and feel it suits them, I enjoyed the studio work as well. I watched SCCTM a while back and I laughed, the timing and delivery was spot on... so I don't really see the need unless they offered something new as Rifftrax has.

I like to tell myself that I wouldn't waste the money double dipping but I know I would. As Spudboy says I'm now on three versions of Plan 9!

Considiering that I bought Plan 9 from Rifftrax 3 times, I probably would. Haha! I did the same thing with Plan 9 as well. I would love to see some live version released on DVD. I'd pay to buy another set. Especially for new jokes!
