I thought the riffing on this show was sometimes hilarious. The difference, of course, is that the riffing here consisted of thought balloons and captions popping-up on the screen instead of having robots provide the heckling from theater seats.
But the sense of humor was somewhat similar, more Mike-era than Joel-era, even if the writing lacked the deep pop-culture awareness that was MST3K's strong suit.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Sirs?
