WHAT?! No, this can't be happening! The Kinks are one of my favorite bands, right up there in the top 5. I just can't believe another one of my heroes is gone RIP Pete, you're one of the best. You'll be missed.

thanks for the news Chuck. I had not heard. and of course, I wish I never had to hear. I always had a warm spot in my heart for Quaife, probably some of it due to that unusual last name. But always liked the way he looked via the old promo films. and I kind of resent that Ray, Dave and Mick couldn't settle their differences long enough to put together a reunion tour with their original bassist and background vocalist. now, that will never happen.
