I'm looking forward to tonight. We're leaving early in case the 405 is jammed (when isn't it?). After being at the Christmas show, I'm so excited to see this one!

Wow, what a great time. The riffing was top notch, and seeing it on a big screen was pretty thrilling for this MSTie My uninitiated friends were laughing their heads off. Not to mention the crowd. It was pretty packed. And about half way through something dawned on me: I couldn't remember the last time I had heard so much laughing in a movie theater. When I saw Jackass and Borat there was steady laughter, but compared to this, it was nothing. The laughter was constant and very hearty. So unlike any other comedic movie going experience I've ever had. I have a new appreciation for why they slowed down the riffing pace for the MST movie, because I missed parts of some riffs, and a few entirely, just due to the guffaws of the crowd. All in all this served as a great reminder of two very important things when it comes to being an MST3K fan: these guys are full on hilarious pros who have refined the art of "riffing", and there are always more MSTies out there than you think. What a great time, I can't miss the Halloween show! Sure hope they keep it up.

12:40am... FINALLY home. Was it worth driving six plus hours total? Without a doubt... YES!
We were somewhat late getting in the theater and good seating choices were limited. Rifftrax movie trivia played on the screen but there was only a popping sound for audio. About five minutes before the show started an attendant came in and announced that we all needed to move to a different screen. Being quick witted (or at least quick moving) we were able to get into the new room fast and upgrade our seat locations to some of the best in the house. I'd guess there were around 80 enjoying it with us. And enjoy it I did. I laughed the entire presentation. All the shorts were great but Grass was my favorite. And Reefer Madness was as hilarious as if I'd never seen it before.
Two thumbs up for a great night.

Great show! I was lucky enough to go to the Christmas show, and this one was just as good, or better. Where did they ever find those shorts? Awesome! The grass sculptures and masks will haunt my dreams. We're still trying to wrap our brains around the dry cleaning by gasoline.
There were more people in the theater this time, and everyone had a great time. I love these shows because I'm usually sitting by myself in my living room, laughing out loud, and it's a nice change to be in a roomful of people that appreciate the unique MST3K humor.
The October show will be so fun, they can't miss with the movie they chose.

It was nicely done. I'm very glad to have seen it.
I was a bit worried, because I'm one of the minority who really didn't care for the normal Rifftrax of this movie. Even though I recognized a few re-used jokes, it felt tighter and funnier this time.
Strangely, while the movie was okay, the parts that really sold it for me were the shorts and the trivia before the film. Admittedly not what I went to see primarily, but I thought they were great.

Afgncaap5, I agree totally. I was not that impressed with the Rifftrax of this movie, but it was improved tonight, with only a few reused jokes. I loved the shorts, and my 20-year old son talked about them as the highlight of the night. The trivia was new and unexpected, something we all like, I guess.
