"Three's A Crowd." The "Three's Company" spin-off. I thought John Ritter and Mary Codorette had great chemistry, and Robert Mandan ("Soap") played Codorette's disapproving Republican father to perfection. This was so much better (and warmer) than the original British show ("Robin's Nest") imo.
"The Loner." Underrated Rod Serling series about a war-weary soldier roaming the American West. Emphasis was placed on character over action. A gem!
Also "My So-Called Life" and "Relativity" were both pretty good, smart dramas about young peope.

Police Squad was great but my favorite one season wonder is Cartoon Planet. Space Ghost, Zorak, and Brak starred in this hilarious Saturday morning follow-up to Space Ghost Coast To Coast. Mostly crazy skits and songs with the focus largely on Brak. Fun stuff!

FireflyFor however much Whedon can please/annoy me, this show was such an amazing combination-an fairly original concept, good writing, great casting. It had so much potential. Agree wholeheartedly. I really liked this.

Too bad the only place I can find that offers all 26 episodes on DVD wants $129.99 for them. I hope this gets a commercial release someday.

I forgot about Kolchak the Night Stalker. I really enjoyed that show as a teenager and was upset when it was canceled.

I remembered this earlier in the afternoon. One of TV Frank's favorites. I am talking about Then Came Bronson of course. It was only on the air for one season. But back in the days before informercials local networks would often run this and other short lived series between the baseball/football games & the evening news. I do not remember a lot about it but I just remember thinking that it was pretty cool.

Space: Above and Beyond. The show ended with A season ending cliffhanger. I've been waiting 15 years for some resolution to said cliffhanger.

There's two I can think of @ the top of my head...One was called Simon and it was on the WB around 1995. It had Harland Williams and Jason Bateman in the show as brothers. It only lasted one season, but I really liked it it.
Another more recent one I wish they had given more time to development was called Back to You It was on FOX in 2007. It was a news anchor show with Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton. Plus some funny co-stars like Fred Willard...Ah. It made me laugh. I miss it <3
I mentioned two...yet I *really* miss Titus though....my absolute favorite. Though it did get two seasons I felt it could have had more...Really funny show about Christopher Titus' life.
