Saw it recently, loved it also. Christopher Nolan has yet to disappoint me. Thank goodness for him and Pixar, as far as today's cinema goes.

Brilliant - superb acting across the board, it's a smart, wild ride. I hope it continues to do well at the box office, I think it's important that a film and a director like this succeeds. It lets the studio know that we aren't stupid for one, and it shows them that their are directors you leave alone and let them work their magic.
To the boo bird critics that have compared it to Matrix. It's Matrix in only the most superficial way - and regardless, that a ridiculous reason to discount the film. Do we hate on "Once Upon A Time In The West" for being a rip-off of "Johnny Guitar", do we throw away "North By Northwest" because it borrows liberally from "Sabotuer"?
This will get its backlash, just as Dark Knight did because that's what contraians do, they can't help themselves. Ignore 'em, see this film because it is another masterpiece from Nolan.

I loved it reminds me of the movies in the 60's and 70's 2001, Planet of the Apes, A Clockwork Orange, Solaris and even Blade Runner. Were they had to be smart, involving that made you think, the anti- Star Wars type Sci-Fi movie. I don't think it's quite as good as Memento but I haven't seen that one for some time so a good excuse to see both again. I did read on line that Leonard Maltin hated it like he did for Memento(one and a half stars?) and The Dark Knight(two stars?). blogs.indiewire.com/leonardmaltin/archives/film_review_inception/

Remember, this is the guy who gave Laserblast 2 and half stars. He has a right to his opinion, but between a Nolan film and Laserblast? Hmm, well you might call me crazy but I'm going to go with the Nolan film.

[sarcasm]Oh, but I thought Laserblast was far more intelligent and complex than Memento...[/sarcasm] Maltin put down my favorite movie- I'm getting the tar and feathers.

OK you are crazy (had to say it) You are right on about Laserblast or how about Squirm 3 stars and I hated that one far more then Laserblast ( I for some reason love the Aliens).

Just saw it today. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thought it was his best "big-budget" movie.

Sia, have you seen "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" or "The Basketball Diaries"? They are DiCaprio pre-Titanic, and both are very good. I used to dislike him, too, but he won me over in "The Departed" and "Shutter Island." I thought DiCaprio was amazing in his powerful role on the final season of Growing Pains. I thought Inception was breathtaking and brilliant. I prefer Memento though. It's good to see a film I was looking forward to this year actually live up to my expectations (I'm looking at you Iron Man 2).
