Some of those links dont actually link to what they say they do.
The stuff that does looks great though! High energy performance from DEVO and Echo sounded great too. And of course Gary Numan is God. I loved the Commander Pike chair he was riding around in. =P

I've watched Urgh! A Music War... maybe a dozen times over the years. The Cramps, Gang of Four, XTC, and Klaus Nomi are highlights for me.

Hooray!!! I've had the audio cassettes of some of these performances for years, but I'd never actually seen the movie. And yeah, Klaus Nomi rules.
There was a doc about him a few years back called Nomi Song that was pretty fantastic.

Me too! This aired before I owned a VCR, so that would've been '82 or '83. I had it taped onto a 90 minute cassette, which was too short. Listening to this while driving around is why I know these songs so well. I even remember it ended during that Members song. This was back when HBO was simulcast on an FM channel in stereo. There was no such thing as "audio out" from a television then. Edit: Ordered from Warner Brothers just now. Apparently they burn a DVD -R, just like Sky! $13.96 with free shipping! www.wbshop.com/Urgh-A-Music-War/1000112990,default,pd.html
