So, anyone here planning on going to the show in D.C. Friday October 15th?
This will be the first time I've gone to one of their shows without having to fly.

Boy I want to. This is actually a manageable distance from me for once, and I'm actually off from work that weekend!
Looking good for me going so far, but I wanted to make sure I knew who else was going from my household before I made any hotel reservations, which will be unfortunately necessary.

Honestly, I've dropped all support. They have given South Jersey fans the finger so I will not purchase any DVDs until there is a show that's not 1 million miles away.

You obviously have no earthly idea about show biz, do you? The Titans have not been in Chicago in a year. It's not because they don't love us here: their venue closed. The wonderfully warm, homey Lake Shore Theater closed. And no other venue (to my immediate knowledge) has booked them. They would love to come back to Chicago, because they sell out the house, or damn close. What sizable cities are there in Southern New Jersey? Would they draw a crowd, or would it be just you? There are many things to consider when they travel and come to a city to perform. But you seem to be taking it personally. So, if you're that immature, fine. You'll probably never see Lady Gaga either. After all, it's not their fault you're so far from civilization.

I'm with Chuck. I wouldn't take them not coming as the finger at all.

That's why I burned all my Radiohead CDs. I mean, they played in the stadium downtown. DOWNTOWN! I DON'T LIVE DOWNTOWN! Fricking unbelievable. But, seriously, what Chuck said. If you want them to come closer to you, it would make more sense to continue to support them so that they can have more money to do more shows.

Me, I just noticed that there were THREE shows coming up in New Jersey, with one of them centrally located in the state (Princeton). Have you seen their schedule since they posted those dates? (If anything, I thought there was a bit too much New Jersey in their itinerary. ;D) Meanwhile, here in the Southeast, we're just glad when they decide to touch the Mason-Dixon/Sweet Tea line. Maybe one of these days they'll wise up and mine the comedy-seekers down here. Until then, I guess we can live with D.C.!

Charlotte representin'! Loved the "Sweet-Tea line" line, BR.
So they're touring with Lady Gaga now?

So they're touring with Lady Gaga now? If Gruber ever gets sick, she's the warm-up act.

Charlotte representin'! Loved the "Sweet-Tea line" line, BR. Ha ha, it's a term I made up long ago...when I was forced to learn the hard way that they didn't serve sweet tea north of DC. So they're touring with Lady Gaga now? If Gruber ever gets sick, she's the warm-up act. Hey, maybe she'll riff a short before the movie?

I'm still waiting for them to play Vegas. Hell, I'm still waiting for Bruce Springsteen to play here for the first time since 2003. Doesn't mean I'll be boycotting either of them anytime soon.

I just can't keep throwing money at something that just won't happen. The only sizable "city" is probably Atlantic City. But then, there's definitely no way in hell they'll ever go there. And, Chuck, flapjacks off and die in a fire. I'll take it however I fraking well please. And I do take personally. I'm fraking sick of every even being nowhere in my vicinity. And I hope someone kills you today.

I don't know how close you are to the one in Milwaukee but that's a nice one too. I'll be headed out to that show. Hope to see ya there!
