Haven't heard that one. Interesting. I haven't watched the entire series yet, but I like it so far. I think Dean Cain and Terry Hatcher are great, as is the guy who plays Luthor (his name escapes me at the moment.

Plus, I think Teri Hatcher wanted to leave the series, but ABC would not allow her to.

I'm a big supporter of Smallville, even if the plot was ridiculous at times. however, I've not seen as much as I would've liked.
Basically, I watched DVDs for the first four seasons. Then I couldn't afford the season 5 DVDs (I should try it since I'm on a free trial of Netflix now), and then I was able to watch most of the "Doomsday" season on TV. Then I couldn't find the show on a timeslot when I was around to watch it.
I've enjoyed the show. Even the theme song. Oh, boy that theme song. If you're willing to appreciate something for cheesiness value, the theme song rocks. But if you're willing to be one of those people who is willing to just throw away any connection to the real world and take the song completely seriously, it also starts to rock in that way to, albeit not as much.

Heads up to all the superhero followers on this site, the finale is Friday! Will we be seeing red and blue? If we waited ten seasons only to have the answer be no, then the showrunners don't have their priorities in the right spot.

I sat and watched it, the whole thing. SPOILER BELOW, YOU FOOLS!
Lionel Luther's magnificently flowing mane of hair was never in truer form.
