Probably one of the most underrated bands out there that could use some recognition...well MST3K did make a comment about them twice, one in "Ring of Terror" where Servo says "Hey...check it out! It's a soundcheck from Procol Harum" and another one is from the "Union Station" short where Crow says "Wow, A Whiter Shade of Pale".
Now...don't be lame and say you like "A Whiter Shade of Pale", because this is going "Beyond the Pale" (Seriously...they made a song called that)!

I had a best of CD that I listened to a lot in high school. I got it because I was big into Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Douglas Adams was a hige fan.
Shine on Brightly is my favorite song of theirs.

"Whiter Shade of Pale" is the only song I know by them. I like it a ton, but couldn't name any of their other works if you had a gun to my head.
Sorry to let you down, mrcleveland.

I never had any Procol Harum albums but I've been hearing more of them on Serius' Deep Tracks station and it all sounds good. But I still don't think I am going to run out and buy some CDs.

Well here's one called "Conquistador" The one that's more recognizable would be the 1972 version I hope you enjoyed those...I'm a little upset that they got denied the Nomination to the Rock Hall...again!

I really liked Procol Harum as a kid. Before I moved toward punk music.
