In honor of the month of October, I've decided to watch, at random, a different MST3K every night. I was going to do this for November, and I might, but I guess I'd rather start here. So, without further ado, let me begin. MANHUNT IN SPACE Movie Rating: 6/10 MST3K Rating: 8/10 The SOL crew takes a watchable, if campy and outdated, duo of episodes from "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" and turns it into a very enjoyable experience. The host segments are all pretty funny, especially the final one wherein Joel turns his robots into instruments. And the appearance of Mike Nelson as Winkie is just hilarious. I think I see where the Nostalgia Critic derived the second appearance of arch-fan Douchey McNitpick from. Overall, I can't think of too many memorable riffs (except when Servo notices a planetoid that looks like the show's logo and Joel tells him he wasn't supposed to notice), and the chief reason is I watched this late last night, and it ended about four in the morning. I may rewatch it when I can so I can absorb it better, but for now, this is my review. DO I RECOMMEND THIS EPISODE? Yes. I actually think this episode would be a good first for people who have never seen the series before. The movie is a bit dry, and vastly relies on pseudo-science to make the plot work, so it's the perfect thing for Joel and the Bots to work with.

I apologize for lack of updates; I do have all the reviews written in a notebook (with a shadowrama sticker on the cover, natch), but I haven't had the time to sit down and post them all. In fact, I'm only able to type THIS because I have a spare second from cramming for SATs. ^_^'
