So, I was watching PBS late last night, and Jack Horkheimer's Star Gazer came on the air. I love that show, and I always think it's a treat to watch it. It just changes time slot so often that I can never find a fixed time (especially tricky for a 5-minute long program.)
But it wasn't Jack. It was someone else.
I'm very, very sad to learn about Mr. Horkheimer's passing. His boundless enthusiasm and joy when talking about the stars and planets in the night sky always seemed very inspirational to me.

I always found his segment and his attitude enjoyable. His passing is a great loss. With no Fred Rogers and Jack Horkheimer, PBS must be a pretty sad place. Keep looking up, sir.

I remember that show from back when it was still called Star Hustler.

Loved "The Star Hustler." Right before "Doctor Who" Friday nights on PBS.
