This is not a plug, but as of the present writing, I heartily endorse this. Warner Brothers has started releasing some drive-in cult titles on a "burn on demand" basis. You order, they'll burn it for you and ship it. It warns you that you can watch them on "view only" dvd players, and it might not work on a dvd recorder or a pc. I tested The Hypnotic Eye on my pc, and not only does it play beautifully, it goes into full, wide-screen mode and looks terrific. FYI, not only did I get said Hypnotic Eye (starring Jacques Bergerac!), but also The Disembodied with Paul Burke and Allison Hayes, William Castle's Macbre, and Bert I. Gordon's The Cyclops, starring James Craig (and no one else of consequence, apparently). Wait! I take that back. Gloria Talbott and Lon Chaney, Jr. are also in it! Here's the Link: www.wbshop.com/EDIT: By the way, I saw all four of these at the Avon Theater when they first came out. I wish I still had my insurance certificate for "Death by Fright" from Macbre!

Warner Archive right? Yeah, it's a great service. Sony was supposed to be the first to offer this service but it never got it up and running and WB beat them to the punch. Appearantly Sony FINALLY got started though.
There's been rumors of Warner Archive working on old shorts starring the Three Stooges (with Ted Healy) and Shemp Howard solo shorts. I keep hoping some solid word will come of that.

Really fun flick. I think you'll love it. Assuming you haven't already seen it and formed that opinion.

Green Slime is awesome, and it's one of their first releases that's been remastered - so, even though it's DVD-R reviews say it looks fantastic.
I need to get that one, and The Story of Mankind (last appearance of the Marx Brothers in a movie), and there are rumblings of a Tex Avery MGM cartoons set and some of the more obscure Looney Tunes being released through the archive.
