I guess they're saving the big Maggie-sees-Negan scene for next year. They didn't show that. Wonder who the ninja is.
Not a completely horrible episode. At least Beta and that big horde are gone. Wonder who all those military people are that stormed Eugene, Ezekiel, Princess and what's-her-name - Amiko? Are they the same as the three ring people that carried off Rick? Are they Stephanie's community?
I watched about five minutes of the next series (World's End? Edit: World Beyond). Couldn't get into it from the opening moments. I'm recording it, so I'll fast-forward through it maybe just to see if anything is relevant to the other series(es).

What the hell are they making their arrows out of? How the fluke can they have so many? And --- "Get down"? Seriously? That's all you have to do if you're near (as in two feet away from) someone who blew himself up with a grenade? They didn't even get blood on themselves, let alone have shrapnel hit them, or go deaf or whatever. Super easy, barely an inconvenience. (Edit: And they didn't even actually do the "get down" part: they just winced a little.)

Talk about filler episodes. They maybe shouldn't have even bothered with this extended season and just waited until Season 11. Nothing's really happening.
How are their flashlights still working? Do they have some batteries left over that they are recharging with the solar?
What the heck does Daryl's bike run on? Food oil? Corn?

'Nother stupid episode of nothing. They should just shorten the season if they don't have an actual story. They didn't show how Eugene and co. got the uniforms off those "guards". Anything can happen during a cut-away! Funny how the Walkers' skin gets all dried out but their eyes remain intact. Where are they getting all that moisture? And why do they still bleed and ooze when you kill them when there's no body functions left? And how do they walk around and have any strength left in their muscles or jaws? I know, just relax. Maybe they'll turn Negan evil again so Rick can come back and kill him. He DID make a promise, after all -- maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe 10 years from now, but... A promise is a promise. There are just too many characters on this show with no background or character building. I just don't flippin' care about them or even know most of their names. I wish this show would get back it's focus. I just re-watched "Four Walls and a Roof" yesterday. So much better when Rick and Carl were still a part of this show. (Though they were kind of running out of things for Carl to do). I'm just watching this now because I want to see how Rick's story comes to a close (or if it continues off-screen during the Carol/Daryl era).

Lordy. This doesn't even seem like the same show from a few years back. It's just too campy and schlocky now. I mean, it always had its over-the-top moments, but lately it's just horrible.
Ezekiel with his stupid outfit and unrealistic hairstyle (Michonne, too, and anyone else with hair past the shoulders). Like, he would keep that long hair in a zombie apocalypse. And idiot Princess with her idiotic pink coat and goggles that she has to wear ALL THE TIME, for what? Character recognition? So she looks like the comic character? She can't change ever? (And of course, Daryl with his vest - and he's not even from the comics. That thing would've disintegrated by now).
Grrr. Are those Rick movies ever going to get made? I know I keep saying it, and probably everyone is sick of reading it, but his character arc is the only reason I still watch this show. Don't even know what they are going to do with Daryl and Carol, story-wise, when this season is over.

So. Over a decade of living with walking corpses and NO ONE thinks to, I don't know, reinforce the doors on the houses and have shutters on the windows that can close from the inside?

This show went from surviving in a post-apocalyptic world fighting the dead to...politics. Urgh.

Where the hell does the Commonwealth (and the CRM, which we've seen in the other show) get the material for their soldiers' armor? Not to mention the gas that still works and the never-ending supply of bullets.
This show is just utterly ridiculous now.
(I know, walking corpses - but that should be the only unrealistic thing if they want to make this work).

So they're going to have "fast" Walkers in the last part of the series.
I think the Daryl/Carol thing was scrapped for just Daryl. I don't think Melissa McBride wants to do this anymore. (Can we blame her? heh).
Rick's movies have been scrapped for 6 Rick/Michonne episodes of the show.
There'll be a few "Tales of the Walking Dead" episodes of different storylines (I think one is of Alpha before she became Alpha). (Edit: I didn't watch any of those).
The Rick ones are the only ones I care about. What more could they possibly DO with Daryl? He's friggin' boring now as it is.

Welp. It's over. Very unsatisfying ending - except for the very end of course, when they showed Rick and Michonne (what the frig was Michonne wearing? heh). Daryl's off to who knows where, to "find out things." I think he's going to end up in France somehow. (??!!) He just rode off into the sunset with his bike. Mmm. How long is that thing going to have gas? I don't know if the Negan and Maggie thing is still going to be a thing (I'd heard they were going to do a spinoff with them, don't know for how long). Edit: It's still a thing; it's called New Dead City or something, going to be in New York. Liked the commercial with Andrea as a Walker. (Edit: There were two with her in them). I fast-forwarded through most of the commercials until I saw her face; I realize they were doing a whole bunch of commercials with Walkers, so I don't know if any more past characters were in them. (Edit: One of them was one of the kids who ended up on a pike from the Whisperers, named Rodney, one was Milton, the Governor's sidekick and one was Gareth, the head cannibal from Terminus). Poor Rosita. Didn't get very emotional about it, as I'd stopped really caring about the characters as much as I used to. It just went on for too long and got stupid, so I wasn't too invested in them anymore. If it had happened back in it's heyday, maybe I woulda got a little teary. Didn't care about Lukas (?was it?). Hadn't seen him too much and there were too many characters after a while who weren't really fleshed out, so it was just - meh. I do want to know what Rick's been up to, so I will watch that. Hope they don't mess that up. I liked the show better when it was a little wild and the characters were going by their wits and there weren't too many cities like the "old world", stories with that set-up just feel all goofy to me (I say about a zombie show). But, we'll see.

Chandler Riggs (Carl) got to do a cameo in the last episode for a split second in the background. He was on set for the last of the filming, so they stuck a hat on him and had him working in the background in the gardens. One can see him for a flash when Judith goes to hug Maggie.
