I didn't see this listed in this thread, so if I missed it, feel free to lock it.
I've watched this show for years, pretty much since it started on Comedy Central. While it's not as funny as it used to be, it still is pretty funny. That being said however, there is one storyline that I just don't like. It's The Coon and Friends, with Cartman being the Coon and his friends are his friends. I don't know why but I just don't find it funny. Just me, but maybe I'm missing something.

I missed the third part of the latest Coon and Friends story arc, so I can't really comment on that, but overall I think the series is pretty much as strong as ever. It has it's ups and downs, for sure, but their humor and commentary is so spot on sometimes. Randy by himself can carry and episode of laughs.
It's kind of funny, too, because South Park is essentially one of the shows Comedy Central brought in to replace MST3K, if I remember right. I held a grudge for quite a while (and in the early days South Park was pretty juvenile), but I came around big time.

That's right, it was. I had forgotten about that.

I wasn't thrilled with the Coon and Friends arc. It had its moments, but I think they really labored to stretch the storyline over three episodes. One of the things that I liked was the Looney Tunes reference when Cartman and Cthulu reenacted the classic "Feed The Kitty" cartoon. I really enjoy stuff like that.
I did love the "Creme Fraiche" episode, mostly because I am a cooking show junkie, just like Randy.

The Season Finale for Season #13 called "Pee" was what Cartman would say..."flapjacksin' Weak"!
But the "Coon and Friends" Trilogy was epic!...Especially making fun of LeBron James!

To be honest the Coon and Friends thing was all I liked about the latest group of episodes. Show's been in decline for a few years now and the whole let's just do whatever's in the news style thing because they make it in less than a week became quite annoying. I liked Coon and Friends because apart from the BP stuff it felt like an earlier more random episode. The Inception and Nascar episodes were dire. It's a shame because I'm a fan of Parker and Stone's work. I'd love to see them do something non-South Park related again.

I enjoyed the Coon and Friends arc. I can take a good joke about my state, I loved the shrimp salesman. "Jess look ad oll my skrimps." I too loved the old Looney Tunes callback.
From this season, I had one line that I loved from The Human-Centipad. "Oh my god, it emails, it web browses, and it sh*** in Kyle's mouth. This is the best thing ever!!!"
I'd say the high point was between that and the City Sushi episode.

I'd love to see them do something non-South Park related again. If you can get to Broadway, or wait for the touring company version if they ever have it, there now is "The Book of Mormon". I'd love to see that. Apparently it's really good but it's hard to get tickets to and REALLY pricey.
