I just realized something about these up-scaled "Surgically Enhanced" episodes in the Gizmoplex: No tape hits!

More like a visual hiccup on the tape. Usually a distorted or pixelated line that shows up for a few frames. Easy to not notice, but still visible to the naked eye. Search the forums here for the phrase, it's a commonly used term here! Perhaps we coined it ourselves and we know no other way.

Watch the first five minutes of Lost Continent on Gizmoplex, Shout, Twitch, or official DVD. There's what tape hits look like, and plenty.

I checked Lost Continent - yes that's one of the things I try to fix where I can. When time permits I also try to eliminate reel change indicators, color defects, etc. We're doing a lot more than just running MP4s through an upscaler. Anything stick out from these episodes that needs to be fixed/improved? I can't talk about what is or isn't to come in the future, but the episodes that are already "done" can still theoretically be adjusted to the community's satisfaction.
