Santa and the Three Bears. Anyone remember that one? My sister and I used to watch it every year - we even had the LP, ::)which included all of the spoken parts, and all of the music, too.
It started out as live action - a park ranger is telling a story, to, I think, his grandkid(s). Then when he gets into the story, it switches to a cartoon. He's the ranger in it obviously, and he's telling these two bear cubs all about Christmas, and it's right before they're supposed to turn in and hibernate, and they ask their annoyed mom if they could stay up long enough to experience the holiday, so they wait for Santa.
The ranger tells mama bear that it's all a good natured legend, and she's kind of pissed that he told her kids all that for nothing, so the ranger disguises himself as Santa so he can give the cubs a Christmas - but they know it's him - 'cause the real Santa had shown up.

Yeah, but that's why I said it was sort of not released on DVD. I've seen it, and it's a crappy VHS to digital "copy." It's really shoddy and not worth anything you'd pay for it.

I'm partial to Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and for a modern kick-- A Christmas Story. The new classic!

Know this is late, but grew up with the "Big Three" Rudolph/Grinch/Charlie Brown, but don't watch those every year.
Without fail, though, "It's A Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Story".

The Fat Albert Christmas special. "You're just like school in the summertime. How's that? NO CLASS"!
