Does anyone else like this 80s film with Chevy Chase as a fugitive seeking help from his ex-wife (Goldie Hawn)? This was an HBO (or was it Cinemax?) staple when I was a kid--it was on what seemed like every day.
Yes, the plot is weak and contrived, but on the plus side writer Neil Simon keeps the one-liners coming fast and furious (they don't all work, but there are some gems), Chase and Hawn have good chemistry, and the supporting cast is fantastic (Charles Grodin, the guy from "Benson," etc).
Not my favorite film by any stretch of the imagination, but an enjoyable enough farce that I rarely hear get mentioned.

I liked it when I first saw it, haven't seen it in ages. I also liked "Foul Play".
