Don't know if this has been done before - didn't feel like reading through back pages. ;D Person writes quote(s) from a TV show, next person guesses what show it's from and what character(s) said it, then the person that gets it right does a quote of their own. You could also put who played the character(s), and the name of the episode, but that isn't necessary. People don't always know what title the writers gave the episode so you could always just put, "the one where they...", but TV show and character(s) are sufficient. If it's just one character talking you can just put the quote, if it's more than one character, you can label them "a" "b" "c", etc., or something so people can tell it's a conversation. I'll start (obviously) . This one is probably easy. A: "Unhand me!" B: "I'll try, but I don't think they'll come off."

Okay. Either nobody cares, or nobody knows what this is. It's Maddie (Cybil Shephard) and David (Bruce Willis) from Moonlighting when they did that "Taming of the Shrew" parody. So, if anyone cares to put your own in, go ahead on.

Jerry Seinfeld, I think it was The Beverly Hillbillies "Why do we have four children?" "Because we do not want five."

'Kay. I guess I can see where this one would be problematic, since we don't all watch the same shows. Oh, well. A free for all, then. You don't have to wait to guess the previous one, just quote away if you feel like it (if not, I guess you can ignore this thread completely). If a quoter sees no one has guessed his/her quote, you can just put the answer in next time. "I'm a super scientist! My father was a super scientist, HIS father was a super scientist, and HIS father - oh, wait, I think he was a milliner."

"Why do we have four children?" "Because we do not want five." What was this one, BTW? It's from the pilot episode of "The Cosby Show" (Cliff to Claire, before they decided that Sonia was the oldest already in college)

Arthur "Big Guy" Carlson (Gordon Jump) - WKRP in Cincinnati (as an aside, I always liked Jan Smithers better than Loni Anderson)
"Fine, I'll guard the keg. But I'm watching Dallas at your place!...That, that's just a joke. I don't watch Dallas."
