This one is extra obscure, but I like the way it came out.

Even though I think your Teenagers from Outer Space cover was perfectly done, I also thought this image would have made a very good TFOS cover.

I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll bitch about it in the future, but I hate these stupid sword and sandal movies so much.

My original idea for this was to mimic the Kramer painting from Seinfeld, obviously with Kline. When I realized how difficult that would be to pull off, I went with the talk show scene. I'd totally forgotten about it, and couldn't stop laughing when they went with the head on, desk shot. Ed Wood, auteur.

Oh yea, and not a very good looking cheese steak either. I thought that was appropriate. The Dough Boy cover was sort of a last ditch effort. I thought there would be plenty of easy ideas from that one, but I drew a blank. I also just really like that picture. It has a Stay Puft quality to it.

This place is like a maze today, an hilarious maze, but a maze nonetheless. The St. PatStephanie's Day music thread title is especially awesome. Anyway, I had it in my head that Jody called herself "Jody Doll" in this one. I didn't realize I was wrong until I was almost finished. Since it took so kraking long, I wasn't about to redo it.

This one was fun. Fans of Mickey Rourke and Darren Aronofsky collaborations should recognize it.

Nice one. and she did refer to herself as Jody Doll, or rather 'the' Jody Doll - one of the famous quotes from the flick has her saying... "That's the Jody doll, you wind her up and she still turns up lousy!" I was thinking it would be fun to take an existing Criterion cover and alter it. Like turn the Kurosawa's 2-pack of Yojimbo & Sanjuro into Fugitive Alien/Star Force (replacing the image in the middle with the star wolf helmet w/hair) Oh, and I loved the Mighty Jack cover - you did my namesake proud

I remembered that quote, and then didn't hear it during the movie. Thanks for commenting on the Mighty Jack cover. I don't think I could have found a better picture for it, and the Atari logo fit in perfectly. And I may steal your idea for Fugitive Alien. I still haven't done one for the second episode, and that would look pretty good.
