This weekend, the Last Airbender won Worst Picture at the Razzies, kicking the total of Worst Pictures RiffTrax has tackled to four. Which one was the best?
And for fun, here's a bunch of Worst Picture noms that RiffTrax has also tackled. Marathon on them for fun in celebration!
Jaws 3D Karate Kid Part III Road House The Island of Dr. Moreau Batman & Robin Armageddon Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Crossroads Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Glitter The Wicker Man The Happening The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

I really enjoyed Airbender. Hard to get better than it.

The only one of those I can stand to watch repeatedly is the Star Trek one, so I guess I'll pick it. For all I know, the other three are funnier trax, but to this point I can't concentrate on the riffing because of the hateful, hateful movies.

Interesting - none of those would rank among their funniest for me. Trek V was decent and was one I loved when it was first released (but hasn't held up real well). I'll give it my vote.

The Razzie noms came out for this year, films that have been riffed of the "worst picture" nominations are Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Could there be another winner among these two?
Not if Jack & Jill has anything to say about it.

Yeah I'm sure Jack and Jill will win this year, but there is something about those horrible movies which are dramatic and take themselves very seriously. It is immensely satisfying for those films to win Razzies and get taken on by the Rifftrax crew. So, no matter who wins this year, Breaking Dawn and Transformers will still be winners/losers in my book.

Some rather insightful replies here. I love the Star Trek V riff and the entire movie franchise itself but Battlefield Earth takes the cake because hearing someone lampoon that John Travolta crud is the only way to live to tell the tale.
Their Glitter riff was rather poor as was the Tom Cruise film Cocktail but then again, those movies were beyond repair.

I think any of the Twilight movies are right up there. Breaking Dawn part 1 is as bad as most any movie can get.

I loved "Glitter." Perfect flick, funny riffs, and Mary Jo. What more could you want?

Got to vote for Battlefield Earth. You really get the sense of three guys just barely managing to keep from drowning in the ocean of stupidity that is John Travolta's labor of love.
The Attack of the Clones riff was pretty good, I recall; not so much The Phantom Menace one. Revenge of the Sith ought to be on the worst list, though--utter, utter rubbish, so painfully moronic that even the Rifftrax is hard going.

While this thread is bumped, we can all predict that Rifftrax will absolutely do Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Well, guess what award it won this week?

I kicked in $20 toward the Kickstarter campaign. They totally blew away their goal within day or so.
I wish I could swing more now but the $20 gets a digital download of the show. Amazing turnout with some really big donations. Rifftrax should be feeling the love!
