Saw this on the front page of MST3K Info. Anyone manage to snag a copy yet? Sure, it's a collection of essays about people expounding on what they think about MST3K. Not really hard science or facts, but I'm a sucker for reading about my favorite things. However, $40 seems a bit steep since similar books like Superheroes and Philosophy are under $25. I'm assuming it's because it's an independent publisher? Anyrate, I'd love to hear recommendations and thoughts about the book.
Yeah, hoping to find some good reviews to justify the price. Pop psychology books can be entertaining, but sometimes they lack substance or scope (a lot of philosophy books on superheroes focus only on the movie versions, which can be lame). The titles of the essays look intriguing (and seeing an essay by the creator of Hobgoblins ALMOST justifies the price), but just hope to hear some high recommendations first.
PS- You have a Barks Scrooge McDuck painting as your avatar! I just got into the Barks/Rosa duck comics.
Oh yeah, LOVE the Disney Ducks. There have been other good duck writers, but I swear by Barks & Rosa. All of their work is recommended, but Rosa's The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck (both the main book and the Companion book) are worth owning copies in graphic novel form. Great stuff.
I will give this thread a bump as I found the book for $8.99 at a half price book store.

Great, now you've turned this into a fart thread of which there are of 20,000 too many already. --Mitchell
