Okay, so anyway, years ago Mike Nelson said he might be writing another book after Death Rat was just released. A book about emu farming, if memory serves? Anyway, nothing ever happened there.
Then a week ago or so on Twitty, Mike pointed out that Pontius Feeb (or PontyFeeb) had apparently started up a mysterious Twitter account.
Then on Mike's "Ima" page on Reddit, I saw this exchange where someone asked if there was going to be another book ever again, and he said "Stay tuned for some exciting news."
I don't like getting myself worked up, but...these are favorable signs for those of us looking forward to new stuff. I mean, no hard, concrete evidence yet, but Mike does seem to be teasing people a little here. He wouldn't tease us without reason, right?
...right?

I've enjoyed Mike's books so it would be great news indeed to hear of a new one.

Oh please oh please oh please oh please...
I love RiffTrax, but I was always disappointed he abandoned his writing career for it.

I've really enjoyed all his books and hope another is on the way.
I did notice that later in the Reddit Q&A Mike talked about how much he hated the whole process of getting his books published and made it sound like he didn't want to go through that again. I guess we'll see.

That is where most of his Mega Cheese essays originated. ah, i'd forgotten about that! in fact it's online, evidently. www.hometheater.com/category/curtain-callmike's wide-eyed, credulous face is a bit disconcerting when repeated over and over like that.

I have a ton of the old "Film Flam" articles that I am slowly scanning and going to make a PDF out of. I used to work in a used book store and a customer had a ton of old Home Theater Magazines. I bought them for myself to get the Mike pages. I have most of the original run before he published the mega cheese book.

My plan is to make some PDFs with them.
