I'm a longtime fan of the Twilight Rifftrax. I think it's among their best work.
My question, though, is does this work carry through to the next two movies? I've never seen those movies, but it's very tempting to just plunk some cash down and rent the DVDs.
Would I be expecting too much to expect the same level of funny business, or is it worth it so soon after watching the Twilight Rifftrax again?

I for one have enjoyed the series greatly. I've enjoyed a lot of good laughs with the bunch.

I'm anxious to hear some more of Twilight as well. I've only listened to the first one, but it was definitely a highlight on Rifftrax's resume.

I actually think the second is a hair funnier, I ranked it my 3rd favorite trax overall, with the first coming in at #4. The 3rd is the lesser, but it still provides ample laughs.

This thread was perfectly timed for our change to the official unofficial Twilight board. Jacob rules!

I loved the first 2, and I can't really say which one I like more. I tried but really couldn't get into the 3rd one, though I hear from a lot of people that it got better as it went along. I'm kinda picky about my 'trax though, so take any "criticisms" with a grain of salt.

This thread was perfectly timed for our change to the official unofficial Twilight board. Jacob rules! It was almost exactly a 50/50 mix of coincidence and intent. I only recently purchased the Twilight Rifftrax even though I'd seen it so long ago, but I read the description of Twilight 3 while searching for it last week, and that description made me laugh. So with the event in mind, I figured it'd be as good a time as any to find out. And I'm glad I asked. Sounds like the popular thinking is that the next two Rifftraxes are good/okay, but there isn't necessarily an Earth-shattering rush to make them my next purchases, either.

Honestly, this whole prank has got me in the mood for Twilight RiffTrax. I need to purchase New Moon and Eclipse next week and Twi-a-Thon.

Preparations for Twilight Massacre 2011 are underway. I stopped at Hastings to get a used copy of Eclipse. A terrible waste of money...until I saw they also had a used copy of Birdemic as well (and Hastings has that deal, buy one used movie, get another for a dollar).
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! That's God telling me I was destined to watch RiffTrax this week.

"And you stay off this log! THIS IS MY LOG!"
Finished watching Twilight and New Moon back to back. Wow, so much drivel. Twilight is still a top five for me, New Moon is almost as good, but it never reached the heights of "I'm Haaaaaaaaarpo." But I got some wild laughs out of it.
Next is Eclipse. Three Twilight movies in a row. Never thought I'd see the day.

"HOUSEKEEPING, BITCH!"
I agree with MJ. Eclipse was funny but not on the same level. However, as torturous as a two part finale of Twilight seems now, as Eclipse ended and I remembered we will get two more RiffTraxes out of this series, I couldn't help but feel "There is a god!"
