I watched him all the time as a kid. I'm glad he's finally going to be seen all over the country.

I love this guy but I've only been able to watch him on youtube because I live in NY. I'll check to see if I get this channel but I doubt I do.

I love Sven! He's always been a welcome but fleeting presence in my life. I started watching him with my sister as a kid, Saturday afternoons on The U, until we stopped getting that station in southeastern WI. Then, years later, he reappeared on WMLW, only to disappear again. So I was quite pleased to hear that he's gone national. He deserves it. While I've really enjoyed some of the B&W films he's been showing lately (Dracula & Tarantula come to mind), I hope he eventually goes back to featuring more films from the 60s-80s. I miss the variety.

I didn't get to see Svengoolie until one of my local stations became a MeTV affiliate back in February, but I've been watching him since then, and really loving his show.

I've been watching him since I discovered MeTV in the fall. I'm loving seeing those old Universal Horror films. I do wish they weren't only doing Universals, but also some of those B-movies he shows on his non-national show, but at least I get to see him.
Being a child of the 90's I never did get to experience horror movie hosts. After becoming an MST3K junkie, and seeing some of the Elvira DVD's my interest was tweaked. After all, horror hosting is the predecessor to movie riffing.
My favorite part is when he basically gives the viewer a bunch of interesting trivia about the movies (actors and what other roles they've been in, etc).
Last fall, however (in the month of October, of all times) our affiliate decided to change the schedule and start showing Paid Programing over his time slot. One night I came home late and turned on the TV to see that he was playing again (showing Abbot and Costello meet the Killer), even though my program guide still lists it as Paid Programing. So I have to DVR the shows in three parts, but at least I get to see them.
Because of Sven on MeTV, I've also discovered Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, which plays right after. I don't see what Gypsy saw in Richard Basehart, but I do really enjoy the show.

This Saturday nights (Oct 6th) episode of Svengoolie on Me-TV is The Deadly Mantis.. I watched the opening, but had to go to bed, had just gotten home from a 4 hour drive from Houston. I know This Island Earth will be playing soon, I look forward to seeing it unedited. I only saw the last half last time and there was a LOT more to that movie than was shown on MST3K The Movie.
