I am not a Playstation user or a fan of Sony in general, so it wasn't until Penny Arcade said somthing that I was aware of this. This seems like a...well, a pretty big deal. My personal issues with the company aside, this is the kind of wake-up call that I think the industry needs. The companies that continue to be succesful are the ones that are actually making an effort to communicate with their customers. This isn't the era when Nintendo only has a single 800 number or customer comments, or the time when you should have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for a response in your mail. Game companies need to speed up. This might actually be the reason why the Casual Game is taking the world by storm so effectively.

Man, I was wondering why the first episode of the BTTF game was taking so long to download.

So glad I pretty much stopped playing games after N64.

Ratso, you're missing out. Apart from Sony rampantly mismanaging the empire they've built entirely on their reputation for having a good reputation, it's actually a pretty good time in the world of video games. Especially on the PC. (*Cough*Plants vs. Zombies*Cough)
