Here's a list of lots of cancelled shows. Some of these are no brainers, and a few are a bit of less so. I've got a couple regrets. I only saw a few episodes of The Cape and was kind of hoping to get to see more, although it looked like it was suffering from "First Season Sickness" in a bad, bad, bad way from what I saw. And, of course, I've already documented my unexplainable sorrow at seeing Smallville end.

I'm pretty pissed Breaking In got canned. From what I heard it was even scoring high in the ratings too. Such a shame. It's definitely the funniest show currently on television.

The one cancellation that shocked me the most was America's Most Wanted. After over 1,000 telecasts and over 1,140 captured fugitives, FOX stupidly decides to terminate the program because they felt that it was a business move and that they hadn't made a profit on AMW in a long time. With a show of that nature, the profit doesn't matter. If YOU are as disgusted as I am with this cancellation, you can E-mail Kevin Reilly, the President of FOX's Entertainment Division, at Kevin.Reilly@fox.com.

Yes. Back in 1996, AMW was cancelled to make way for sitcoms on the FOX Saturday night schedule. Married... With Children and the ill-fated Love and Marriage (NOT a MWC spin-off) replaced AMW in the schedule. Low ratings for both shows, coupled with protests from viewers, police officers, and law enforcement agencies nationwide were enough to get AMW back on TV. Now, it seems that there are Facebook groups popping up to replicate the efforts put forth back in '96.

I imagine America's Most Wanted will return in some form or another. We have cable channels devoted to law enforcement now. It seems like a good fit for one of those.

I agree, Torgo. AMW is too good of a show to die.

Has anyone contacted Discovery? Their ID channel would be a good home. One of the shows actually led to a fugitive being found.
