Hey, everybody, this is your old compadre, TheRoadtoDeep13. Anybody that knows me knows that my favorite late night talk show host is Conan O'Brien. The man's been hosting on late night TV for nearly twenty years (wow, can't believe it's been that long already), and he has yet to skip a beat. I know that some of you out there share the same sentiments as I do, which is why I have created the OFFICIAL Conan appreciation thread! One major ground rule: Any supporters of that chinhead Leno can stay away.
CONAN FOREVER! JAY NEVER!

I love Coco Gigante and have been watching for years. He is not only hilarious, but very intelligent and witty to boot. While he got a raw deal at NBC, his last show there was the definition of taking the high road. Now that he's on TBS, he hasn't missed a step and the show is as great as ever (and he's got Andy back). I wouldn't call Conan my number one (that would be Letterman, who I honestly feel is Johnny's real successor), but Conan is definitely carrying the torch for both of them and is my generations Carson. One day Letterman will hang it up and there will be only Conan.
PS I like Craig Ferguson a hell of a lot too.

I can only hope that Letterman retires in short order. When that happens, only Coco and Kimmel, who I feel is the modern-day Letterman, will remain.

Barbarian was good. Destroyer sucked.

The "Lookwell" pilot is an absolute classic imo. Also "Homer Goes To College" is probably my favorite "Simpsons" episode ever. A great Harvard comedy writer in the tradition of Doug Kenney, Henry Beard, etc.

I'm definitely a Conan fan. I remember watching his first show succeeding Letterman - he opened with a sketch where he was in an interview for Dave's job and it was down to him and a Scotch tape dispenser. And something else, maybe a frog? He wasn't that good at the start but he grew on you in a major way.
A funny, smart guy. Can't believe he's on TBS and not running the Tonight Show.
