I sold off my copy of Manos unMiSTed, and have vaguely regretted it ever since. Glad I can right that wrong and get all the new extras. I had an opportunity to buy a copy of Manos un-riffed years ago, but I didn't do it. I've been kicking myself ever since! I wouldn't fret about it too much. It isn't a hard movie to get. I've actually ended up getting it no less then three times in movie multipacks from places like Millcreek. In fact if you go to Wal-Mart right now they have a display with various movie 50 packs for 10 dollars. The Pure Terror one has Manos in it.

The Alpha Video version is very easy to find: www.oldies.com/product-view/4251D.htmlPicture quality isn't great, but I do love the cover art. I'm hoping the Shout! version has great picture quality, perhaps they were able to find a print of the movie?

Wonder why it isn't available for pre-order from the Shout! store?

The east coast earthquake caused one thing to fall off a shelf in our apartment, and that thing was the stress ball. lol

Wahoo! Manos is at my apartment door waiting for me to get home! If the DVD says "I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the MASTER is away." when I approach the door, I will be thrilled. Edit: Got home, opened the case. Looks great! I don't know if it was mentioned elsewhere, but the cover is double sided. Very cool surprise! One side is in the starfield spaghetti ball volume release design, and the reverse is in the individual slim case DVD design with the full lobby card image (no shadowrama or "special edition" tag) and on the back are the b-movie "SEE!" tags with images from the film. In my opinion the hidden reverse is better.

I picked it and Thor up at Hastings today - I watched a couple of the extras and enjoyed what I've seen. The MST Hour wraps were a hoot. The only thing I missed, I wish -at the very least- Mike had been involved, either in the backyard chat or in his own interview. Some of his reflection and stories about becoming Torgo would have been cool. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the purchase. It's money well spent.

Hotel Torgo was a haunting watch, mainly because of the walkthrough the original locations. I loved how raunchy the surviving cast member was. Him falling over at the Master's alter and rewatching Manos with his wife/girlfriend was cute. I also really liked the shots of the original manos script. Shame that wasn't scanned and presented in a image gallery. I loved how a whole page was crossed off and somebody wrote "Wing it!" or something to that effect.
The Jam Handy feature was pretty hilarious, and I'm glad that it used real Jam Handy interview footage. The content of the interview itself wasn't mindblowing, so the absent minded interviewer character was a welcome addition. His reply to ghost writers made me lol: "Everybody loves a scary story".

Hi guys,
I goofed and preordered this DVD twice, and they both arrived today. Rather than send the extra one back to Amazon, I'll give it to anyone here who would like it. As long as you live in the US, I can mail it to you. The only thing is, I live in the sticks, and don't get to town every day, so it might be a week or so before you get it.
