I'll always remember him from The Princess Bride. Inconceivable.

My father told me that the man was suffering from Alzheimer's. It's very unfortunate to hear he's gone.
Rest in peace, detective.

I remember "Columbo" as part of a strong Sunday night lineup on NBC. Mr Falk nailed the role.

I was a huge fan of his work. He was amazing as "Columbo," but I really loved his performances in "Mikey and Nicky," "Husbands," "A Woman Under the Influence," "The In Laws," "Murder By Death," etc.

RIP Peter Falk, he was a very good actor indeed Sky & Shep. I loved the Sunday mystery movie line up back in the day and always looked forward to Columbo and McCloud the most.

RIP to the greatest detective.
I'm also going to watch The Cheap Detective today in his honor.

"One more thing."
Don't forget he was also in the great "Wings of Desire."
Well miss you Mr. Falk. R.I.P.

Coincidentally, I'd just bought "The Cheap Detective" not long before he died. Gotta give credit to a man who can be parody as well as play it strait.

Yes, I too grew up with the Sunday Night Mystery Movie. My wife is a Columbo fanatic. Always a good show, always fun to watch. "The In-Laws" is probably my favorite of his movies.
God Bless, Peter.
