Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat's right, Mind of Rick Sloane, it's time for The Mind Of Rick Sloane Summerfest! Last year was such a huge success: Some of our fine patrons enjoy Sloane's SummerFest That we knew you'd be excited for this year! The event's been on for a week, and we've already seen an incredible turnout! Attendance records are at an all-time high! Just check out a photo from this past week's television and movies expo! We even got T.V.'s uhh... THAT GUY FROM SILVER SPOONS to speak at this year's gathering!: Jeff "Big Daddy" McElroy, Events Coordinator, Addressing a lawn pavilion jam-packed with excited patrons! And if you thought it would be all carnival games and cotton candy, think again! We've got the most hardcore band in Lancaster County to play here! Steel Buggies is a fresh fusion band, combining thrash metal and barn dance music. Jacob "Thresher" Hostetler, lead singer and guitarist of Steel Buggies, gets ready to rock out some sweet tunes. It's not all wall-to-wall fun and excitement! You lovers out there will find an equally tranquil and romantically engaging atmosphere that is sure to send Cupid's arrows aflight once again! Who knows, you may come to The Mind of Rick Sloane's SummerFest, and leave with a new sweetheart! And, of course, our concession stands are all free of peanut oils, so as to be sensitive to our most common childhood allergy! Worried about the lack of big chins included here in the promotion? We've got that covered, too!: "I'm Howard Stark, and I'd like to show you my ass, but not until you head on down to my ass-showing booth at The Mind of Rick Sloane's SummerFest! So come on down, and have a blast!" The Mind of Rick Sloane's SummerFest: 'Cause killing yourself would make too much of a mess.

Ed Gein actually sang the original cover of "I Will Always Love You". It was adapted by Dolly Parton, and then again by Whitney Houston.
The studio execs said that Ed had the chops to make it in showbiz, but he decided to follow his bliss instead.

And the scary thing is, I can picture Ed with Dolly's boobs. *Insert cannibal joke here*

Is it bad that I read that as "Everybody feast"?

DQ, thank you so much for posting this thread. It reminded me that I hadn't yet posted the pictures from last year's Sloane Summer Fest. . . Ratso's beautifully constructed kite, The Flying Phantom, takes fifth place at the Kite Contest
We had trouble with crowd control at the Crowfan Strip-O-Booth
The Summer Fest finally gets exposure from a nationally recognized publication
Some highlights from the concession stands:
This booth was a great idea, but unfortunately was used for some "alternate activities." This year it was replaced by a portable grease trap.
DQ wasn't thrilled that we turned his car into a water slide, but it was a hot week and once we got him lathered up and sliding down it. . .and after a couple of quick Lumberjack Swirleys. . .he saw the light
Chuck Ghandi, a great-grandson of the visionary leader, won the prestigious Sloane Fish, Cheese and Jenkem competition.
Barack Obama's brother Billy won the Sloane Raffle grand prize and packed up his winnings to head back home to Plains, Georgia.
McCloud's sister Eunice showed up in a lovely fursuit
Our corporate sponsorships lacked a little flair, but the enthusiasm was infectious. So were the honeybuckets.
