Dangermouse AND Count Duckula, dude!
What about Inspector Gadget? And I could have swore that Double Dare started in the 80's too. I watched a lot of Pinwheel when I was home sick. I always liked Out of Control as well. And I loved David the Gnome and the Muppet Babies.

You Can't Do That on Television. This show was indeed amazing. I really hope they rerun it soon.

Good luck seeing a kids show like this anymore...
I think that show still holds up as does Pete and Pete. I'm not sure if other shows I enjoyed like Welcome Freshmen or Salute your shorts hold up but maybe we'll see.
Oh and Sia I still have Inspector Gadget and Muppet Babies taped from probably twenty years ago... should probably put that on DVD.

That they are, Zombiewhacker. Easily found on Amazon.
I was introduced to Nickelodeon back in the mid 80s and loved their programming enough (a lot of anime before we knew what anime was, Canadian and British programming like YKDTOT and Count Duckula, and shows like Out of Control), but the 90s was the renaissance for me. The introduction of the NickToons and shows like Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, and Are You Afraid of the Dark stayed with me all the way up to college. Kinda sad (for me) that the Nick I knew no longer exists, but glad they are at least willing to keep it alive in some format (even though I neither have Teen Nick nor the ability to stay awake from 12am to 4am).

Watching this right now.
Kinda annoyed that Pete and Pete isn't airing tonight.
And I'm kinda surprised that I still find ALL THAT amusing.

I've never seen Danger Mouse, but its rep as the "British Rocky and Bullwinkle" has me eying the insanely cheap complete series boxed set. Seriously, check amazon: 10 seasons of the show often going for just $15!
I was a kid in the '90s and often watched Nick shows like Doug and a smattering of pretty much all those old, familiar shows - but my heart always belonged to Cartoon Network. In it's initial form it had all those great theatrical cartoons, Hanna Barbara reruns, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast! After a while Turner network and WB castoffs joined the lineup like 2 Stupid Dogs, Swat Katz, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid! Then once CN's original programming really got started in the late '90s you had Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpufff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog... yeah, I was basically a teenager by that point, but hell: I still watch cartoons! Adventure Time with Finn and Jake is my current obsession!

I've never seen Danger Mouse, but its rep as the "British Rocky and Bullwinkle" It's so far above and beyond even that. I'd call it the borderline love child of Doctor Who and a drunken Wind in The Willows, with a bit of Bond and Python watching for tag-ins on the side. You will not be disappointed.
