Red Zone Cuba is without a doubt a worse movie than Manos. At least Manos is funny with how bad it is. Red Zone Cuba is just depressing. I agree, there is a kind of bumbling charm with Manos. RZC, on the other hand just hits you over head with its dreariness and never lets up.

Love Red Zone Cuba. I would put it in my top 20. Just goes to show how diverse our opinions are.

Red Zone Cuba might have the most unlikable protagonists in any movie, featured on MST3K or otherwise. I'm at the scene where they beat a guy to death and assault his blind daughter.
This movie is utterly ABHORRENT. I wish it were shown during the Sci-Fi era, just so it would get the beatdown it deserves.

RED ZONE CUBA is also in my top 20 best episodes. The Curly references are to die for.

Wild World of Batwoman.
This movie's attempts at comedy are painful.
They do the racist Chinese language joke 4 times, because it was SO funny the first time.

"I Was A Teenage Werewolf" is an instant classic episode. Just about every riff hit its mark. Had me rolling on the floor. I also enjoyed the Aliens homage and the skits were great. The only down side is Mary Jo Pehl. I have never found her funny, and she has never made me laugh. The only downside to the Mike episodes. Besides that the episode is a classic, and is almost perfect in every way.

Puma Man.
I'm just now noticing that Pearl's mole keeps changing places.

Puma Man. I'm just now noticing that Pearl's mole keeps changing places. I need to be more observant of it. Watched "The Deadly Bee's" tonight and enjoyed it. Didn't notice her mole lol.

105 - The Corpse Vanishes
I've been taking advantage of the Shout! TV selection so I can rewatch all the Comedy Channel episodes I don't have in my collection. I haven't seen most of season 1 since 2010 so I've forgotten a lot about and written off some of those shows. 105 was a bit of a surprise this time around. I think 101 is an OK show but 102 and 103 are probably the worst shows the Brains ever did in the cable series, and I went into 105 tonight remembering it along those lines. But the riffing is steadier and much livelier than in the previous episodes. The movie is bad but not as depressingly boring as The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy or The Mad Monster (and the print isn't nearly as bad as the one in 103). The host segments are mostly misses, but I think segment 1 with Crow and Servo reading Tiger Bot is the best one they'd done up to this point. The episode also has some of Josh's best puppeteering (except when his head wanders into frame). This isn't a great episode and probably not even truly a good one. It's just under par for the course for the rest of the series, IMO, but it was a welcome surprise considering my recollection of it.

After watching a bunch of season 11 episodes and getting kinda burnt out from it, I decided to go back and watch all of season 1 to change things up a bit. Late season 11 was getting really rough for me. Carnival Magic was an especially terrible episode in my opinion and is now my least favorite episode that I have ever watched. So, I needed a break and I watched the first episode of season 1 today, The Crawling Eye. Overall, while it was definitely slow in some areas, there were definitely some good riffs throughout the episode and you could really tell they had a strong concept on their hands. It's far from being the greatest episode of the show, but I think The Crawling Eye is good for their first cable effort.

I'm still currently in the process of watching through season 1. I rewatched The Robot Vs. The Aztec Mummy last night and I just finished watching The Mad Monster earlier today. Overall, neither of them are bad episodes. I'd still say that The Crawling Eye is better than both episodes, but they're still decent enough episodes. The movies are really what weigh them down, especially with the case of Mad Monster. That movie can really drag, especially during the third movie segment. And unfortunately, the riffing slows down quite a bit too. But, I'd say they're both solid enough to be worth a rewatch. However, if I'm ever gonna rewatch them, I'll probably be drawing or something while having them play in the background.

210 King Dinosaur
I skipped the X Marks the Spot short, though, as it's probably the very worst, most boring of the entire series. Not all of it though, the narration of Joe Doakes's (sp?) reckless driving is pretty good stuff. Hits a major wall after he bites it and goes to heaven court or wherever. Then it just drags on forever.

812 The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed Up Zombies
One of the few post-KTMA episodes that I had never watched beginning to end before. When it was over, I didnt feel like I had missed anything. Sure it was a terrible, aimless movie but the jokes/riffs weren't any better than mild. They made far better jokes and episodes out of much worse so this is disappointing all the way. Now I consistently chuckled throughout (although i must say, the gender jokes were especially cringe - and it didnt help that they continued to make the same joke of it over and over again) but there was nothing memorable, no reason given to ever go through it again.
we ranked this episode 112th, following 315 Teenage Caveman and ahead of 611 The Last of the Wild Horses

I was watching Lost Continent and I noticed someone that looked familiar. Chick Chandler who played Lt. Danny Wilson was also.........Wilbur the angel in "Once Upon a Honeymoon"!
