Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. Eat it, Tot-G. I don't eat crap. Muppets trump everything, even the Batman. And Garfield? Puh-lease!

Know nothing about today but back in my day, I watched Rocky & Bullwinkle, Batman, Gilligan's Island, Green Acres, Get Smart, Star Trek (TOS), Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Three Stooges, Marx Brothers, and horror films like Creature of the Black Lagoon and big bug films. I wonder how many still appeal to kids.

If you want a list of me personal favorites from my childhood and today:
-Any TV packaging of the great theatrical cartoons of Warner Bros., MGM, The Fleischer Studio, and Disney -PBS edutainment like Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. -The Jetsons and the Flintstones (Hanna Barbara's '60s sitcoms) -Jay Ward's Rocky and Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle -Freakazoid!, Batman: TAS, and Dexter's Lab are my favorites of the '90s. -Today I love Adventure Time and (to a slightly lesser extent) Regular Show, both of which air on Cartoon Network.

I miss 3-2-1 Contact and Square One. Two of my favorite PBS shows.

Any muppet stuff. Kids still love puppets.
I bought my niece a DVD with a bunch of the old Max Fleisher Superman shorts, and she absolutely loves them.
Phinneas & Ferb is also very funny. But that's beating a dead horse at this point.
I'm a fan of Adventure Time, oddly enough. It's enjoyable on several levels.
My niece got me into The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack before it went off the air. Kinda like Spongebob, but with more thinly-veiled alcoholism.
I was always a huge Jonny Quest fan growing up. It used to play in syndication.
Yo, Gabba Gabba! is a friggin' trip. Adults tend to watch it for the cameos, but it's very colorful, very musical, and gives some good messages (for example: I didn't know not to bite my friends before I saw this show).
The DCAU and Looney Tunes stuff goes without saying.

I was around 5 when Ren and Stimpy was on, so I recommend that.

I've been hearing raves about "My Little Pony" in a Godzilla-related forum. Go fig.

I never even knew of the older versions until the new one. Kind of like how I discovered Doctor Who...

I was a female child in the midst of the cartoon/toy boom of the deregulated 80s.
I even had the Pony Show Stable. In fact, it's probably in the basement somewhere right now.
