I just discovered this on YouTube. It's The Curse of Bigfoot from... 1978? (Leonard Maltin's book lists it at 1972.)
Sorry for employing a timeworn cliche, but in this case the cliche is true: this is easily one of the worst movies of all time. Or, as a commenter on YouTube just opined: "I think I just saw Ed Wood."
It kills me that MST3K never sunk their claws into this. I love to hear your opinions as well. So please, by all means, waste a few valuable hours of your life that you'll never get back, sit down, and bless this mess.
I'd say you'd be glad you did but... well, you know. Lying and stuff.

Yeesh! It's like what they did with They Saved Hitler's Brain! Take a crappy flick from the 50's-early 60's and throw in some junk from the 70's & sell it as a single movie! At least the Bigfoot one passed off the older footage as a flashback, unlike Hitler's Brain. Do those Hitler's Brain idiots really think that a film that switches from polyester funky-folks to clean-cut JFK-era dorks in the same supposed story timeline wouldn't be noticed?

I actually own this movie, and like msmystie3000 said it is actually an old movie with new footage. The original movie was called "Teenagers Battle the Thing." made in 1958. And yeah I was thinking it would have been a good movie for the SOL crew had the show not got canceled.
Another one along those lines is "Invasion from Inner Earth (aka They)" which was directed by Bill Rebane. The same guy that brought us Monster-A-Go-Go and The Giant Spider Invasion.
Although I still maintain that the worse movie I've ever seen is 1974's "The Curse of the Headless Horseman." This movie isn't nearly as bad as that one.

i actually own this movie too, for some reason, i think because of someone else chattering about it on this very board, but i have yet to suffer through it. if rifftrax or CT were ever to do a double feature, Curse of the Bigfoot would go well with the bill rebane bigfoot movie from the same decade. www.imdb.com/title/tt0124307/

I always wanted to see Harry's head mounted on the Hendersons' wall. And I wonder what "Harry Jerky" tastes like.
...wrong movie, sorry...

Can't believe that this hasn't been mentioned on this topic at least, but it could just as well have been discussed elsewhere on this forum; Little Debbie - Jackey Neyman from Manos was one of the students in this film.
