Sledge Hammer! was also ended prematurely. That show was funny and irreverent, much like Mystery Science Theater 3000.

POLICE SQUAD: 6 whole episodes. JUST THE TEN OF US: The Growing Pains spin-off which I thought was pretty good. The first one makes me admire you. The second one makes me despise you. It all evens out. Very early twenties, cute teenage girls...I couldn't help myself! And then there was Just the Ten of Us.

The Clueless TV series ended after just three years. It would have been fun to see Cher, Dionne, and the rest of the gang (sans Murray) in college.

Yep, another vote for Arrested Development, and also Wonderfalls. And yet we end up with 8 seasons of According To Jim...............

I wholeheartedly agree with SledgeHammer and Police Squad. I would also add to this list SCTV.

^ Good call there, though not the typical case. I should dig out my "Pat Paulsen for President" T-shirt.

Don't know whether it was canceled, or if they only ever intended to make a very few, but I would've loved to see more of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.

The third Bob Newhart show "Bob" was cancelled to soon. It was starting to become another wonderful show of his when they pulled the plug on it.
Since I liked the Joshua Brand/ John Falsey shows "St. Elsewhere" and "Northern Exposure" I was a bit disappointed when their 1993 show "Going to Extremes" was cancelled.
"The Munsters" also didn't get the full run it deserved. In fact, the 1960's are filled with shows pulled before their time.

Someone already called out Brisco, so that's good.
I'd like to add American Gothic to the list.-Gary Cole, creepy little Lucas Black, etc. I loved that show.

Definitely have to agree with Police Squad. Quite possibly one of my favorite TV shows ever.
The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr. was awesome.
Thanks to my brother's suggestion and Netflix I have been enjoying Pushing Daisies and especially enjoying Better Off Ted. Man, Ellen's wife is hot...of course she was also in Arrested Development as well if I am not mistaken....yet another show that belongs in this list.

Enterprise should have lasted longer. Not that it was so great but it was getting better. I'm with Phantom on this. They had begun to do a bit better, and as long as they avoided any further episodes about the Orions, it could've worked. Mr. A beat me to it with Police Squad. Clone High was a personal favorite of mine. It lasted only one season, and the cliffhanger was a killer. Technically, the show is still "On Hiatus", but considering it's been nine years... The Clerks Animated Show was pretty good too. It could've been pretty amazing if it was given a chance. The second episode was a clip show of the first episode, and that alone made me laugh so damn much.

I agree with Police Squad! and Daria, actually all of these are good, I nominate Swat Kats , which Ted Turner yanked because it was "too violent". While she show did feature violence I thought it was a damn good show.
