Sorry to hear this. I'm one of the few people in the world who can't stand MASH. I find it completely overrated. But I'd know Morgan's voice from a mile away. He seemed like a good guy.
Rest well, sir.

I have so many movies with him in it. He was a very fine character actor of films in the 40's and 50's. He was also in almost all the Anthony Mann/James Stewart films. My favorite of his roles were Chummy MacGregor in "The Glenn Miller Story" and Art Croft in "The Ox-Bow Incident."
R. I. P. Mr. Morgan.

I grew up exposed to MASH, but I will forever remember him as Capt. Gannon in the Dragnet film. I watched that over and over as a kid and thought he was hilarious. RIP

Been a Mash fanatic since it first aired so this one really hits home. His voice and wry wit were unmistakable.
Good bye Col. Potter.

A distinct voice, and a great character actor. Mr. Morgan will be missed.
I have many fond memories of watching MASH with my dad when I was a kid. Colonel Potter's always been one of if not the favorite character of mine from that show.

"We order rectal thermometers and we get spark plugs. Useful appliances but hardy interchangeable" One of the many great quotes of Colonel Potter... I had a love, hate relationship with M*A*S*H over the years but I liked Colonel Potter & Frank Burns the best..
