Well, that's a tricky one. It all depends upon your definition of a "sound". Does a sound require the subjective experience of qualia within the mind of an observer to be considered a sound, or is the mere displacement of air molecules caused by vibrations sufficient to be considered as sound? So, it's a question of perspective and, as Wittgenstein pointed out, to look at such things within the context of an absolutist context is... Hey... wait a minute!!! :-O I think someone just took a philosophy class... heh
