I've seen part of Rifftrax on Youtube but i didnt see a whole movie with Rifftrax. I like them, but it's just not the same unless it's a cheesy, low-budget, Roger Cormen, almost teetering over the "John Waters" territory type of films, thats when it gets real good. I sorta had an idea for our 3 fav riffers that they can be superheroes with costumes the whole bit. Sparing people from having to watch really bad movies. I'll give you a good example. "what's on tonight? the classic 1972 horror flick "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things". i have to sit through that piece of crap! This looks like a job for....CHEESEBUSTERS!" They can even disguise themselves as mildmannered tempts at Gizmonic Institute. They would even have their own logo shining in the sky when thier help is needed. Thier motto: "We watch bad movies, so you won't have to."

that would be a good one to bring back "Film Crew," if that were possible. I semi-agree that rifftrax isn't quite as funny when it isn't sticking to the formula of doing ancient, forgotten movies. then again, "wicker man" was pretty frickin' awesome. and they do quite a lot of shorts. CT is doing almost all 70s exploitation, and i love 70s exploitation, but i wish they'd branch out a bit more.
i've not seen "children play with dead things" but i have seen "don't look in the basement," which would also make a great RT/CT fodder and i think used to be in a double feature with "children shouldn't play."
