With the latest story deficient Twilight movie curing insomnia on home media this weekend, us Rifftrax hounds should be getting amped up. The Twilight Saga has provided three of the crew's finest offerings to date.
For once, I haven't seen the film before the Rifftrax, which is the one small perk of breaking up with my three year girlfriend, who always insisted the movies were garbage because they weren't the books, but always got excited like a giddy schoolchild when one was released. I'd say I'm probably not missing much, but truth be told I haven't looked into it. I know this one was directed by Gods & Monsters director Bill Condon (my spellcheck is asking me if I meant to spell "condom" instead), and ends with Bella becoming a vampire (thanks to my female friends' raving about the movie the day after) and that's about it. My apathy for this series knows no bounds. However, I'm always up for more "I'm Haaaaaaaaaaaarpooooooooooo!"
The website makes no mention of the Trax yet, but I'm sure we can count on it. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

If it weren't for Rifftrax I wouldn't watch a Twilight movie in a million years. Now I am nervous with anticipation.
I agree 100% that the other three are pure gold. Twilight was made for Mike, Kevin, and Bill!

Sat through the movie unriffed yesterday. Boy, I tell ya, they got plenty to work with in this one. If they churn out something lackluster, it's they're own damn fault.
Today I decided to relive the horror of Twilight through rose-colored Rifftrax glasses. Maaaaan, these mothers are still the funniest work they've ever done. This was my third viewing of the original and my second for the sequels, and they still had me rolling on the floor. I've never been so happy Twilight existed in my life!

IT'S UP! Now do I want to watch it now of let my Twilight daze wear off from all the poopie I've watched the last two days?
Incidentally, I used the opportunity to pick up a few Riff I'm interested in that I didn't pick up over the years, including Paranormal Activity and Dragon Wars. Maybe I should ease myself in with some cheese.

Just got done with it. Of the four Twilights, this one was the weakest. It took a while to get going, but once Bella gets knocked up, it kicks into high gear and starts living up to the others.
Listen for Bill's favorite part of the movie. It's a scream.
Be warned, the track continues well into the end credits to hit a mid credit scene. Don't let the long silence fool you.

The *only* reason for me to even possibly consider buying the Twilight movies...

I agree that this is ranks 4th. There's one too many fart jokes and a few times they just flat out complain, rather than tell jokes. But there's still plenty of funny to be had. And the movie offers up a lot of stupid.
I must admit, I actually started getting into the movie down the stretch, I knew it was dumb, but it drew me in. Gasp - I hope I don't get banned from the board for admitting that.

We would like to mourn our dearly departed MJ. We were forced to ban him for his growing fondness of Twilight.
Damn you, Twilight. Why must the innocent suffer.

It was horrible too. All of a sudden to realize, "Hey, I'm getting sucked into this and actually caring about what will happen"
I need an intervention, or an exorcism.
Still, that thing with Jacob near the end had me laughing out loud, even without riffs. Are you kidding me Stephenie Meyer? You are one sick mama jamma!
