This actually happened a couple weeks ago, but I just read about it today.Buck Compton died on Feb. 25th, at the age of 90. Compton was an All-American athlete before enlisting in the Army in 1943. He was assigned to Easy Company of the 101st Airborne as an officer, leading to participation in the Normandy invasion, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. He would later be immortalized in the book and television series Band of Brothers. After the war, he attended law school, became a detective in the LAPD, and eventually joined the district attorney's office, where he successfully led the prosecution of Sirhan Sirhan. That's quite a life. RIP Buck

He lead quite the amazing life. He wrote a book called: "Call Of Duty: My Life Before, During, and After the Band Of Brothers". It's very well written and I really enjoyed it. RIP Lt. Compton, Sir.
