I've been watching a lot of the series lately and it reminded me to put this up.
I made pee. ;D
So, any of you played any of the other Transformers games?
What are some of your favorite/least favorite games based on pre-existing properties?

I want to watch the video, but I my phone won't let me. But I see Transformers mentiined underneath it, but I don't know which game it refers to. I have played the game that was based on the first Bay movie. I don't kbow how they screwed up a game about fighting robots as much as they did there, but just wow. That was one of the worst games I've ever played, and it's my one Wii game that will forever collect dust. Favorite non-original properties? Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Absolutely EPIC. I love the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games also. They're kind of simplistic beat 'em ups, but the character scenes are a gas. The movie based Spider-Man games are pretty fun. Free swinging around New York is quite a treat.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game immediately comes to mind. If you guys wanted Ghostbusters 3, this is pretty much it. All the original cast (minus Moranis), genuinely funny parts to it, fun and unique gameplay, cooperative multiplayer (a bit of a rarity), and great atmosphere. No ammo, no HUD, no nothing. You have to pay close attention to the screen to see the status of your character's proton pack. I still re-play it about once a year. Atari hasn't exactly wowed anyone with anything for a long time, but this was probably one of its better titles in recent memory.
Spider-Man 2 is, like the movie it is based upon, the best Spider-Man franchise game ever (shut up, you all know I'm right). Bruce Campbell narrating, hilarious Mysterio fights, Black Cat chase sequences, it had it all. Spider-Sense worked well, the plot was great, and you could just tell the plot to go f--- itself while you swung around Manhattan rescuing errant balloons.
Hulk: Ultimate Destruction could be seen as an expansion of the T.V. show from the nineties, since it had the voice talent from the show in the game. Again, Marvel seems to do free-roaming and team-based games well. Fighting games... eeeeh.... not so much. I keep coming back to Ultimate Destruction when I get weary of all the gun-toting wankery that is present in so many games any more. Sometimes it's just more fun to pull apart a truck, use it as a pair of metal boxing gloves, and beat the piss out of the military when they show up with their big hulkbuster mechs.
Going on from free-roamers, but not leaving the Marvel sphere, the X-Men Legends games were both extremely fun. The first one had some problems (Why, WHY did you need to visit Healer? Why wasn't Forge enough?), but a more generic and accessible plot, in my opinion. The second one was basically a big love letter to the Age of Apocalypse story line from the nineties. Also, Iron Man and Juggernaut can break the game if leveled high enough.
I have both of the Star Trek: Elite Force games as well. The first one is still a blast from the past (have to borrow my father's older computer to play it, too.) and despite its length, it's fun as hell. The second one is much more polished and longer, with probably a better plot. But, you don't get to run around a Mirror, Mirror version of the original Enterprise in the second one. So it still loses out. Weapons are better, though.
Don't know if this counts, but The Godfather game was pretty fun. Basically GTA: 1946, but still a great deal of fun taking over businesses and illegal activities. Blowing up compounds is one of the hardest things in the damn game. You can actually find collectables that unlock scenes from the movie, viewable from the start-up screen. It's super cheap now too, since it came out at the very end of last generation/beginning of this one. I saw a copy for ten bucks.

I' ve always been a fan of the Marvel comics games that Capcom produced. The idea of Spider-Man going up against Strider Hiryu was a concept that I thought was and still is awesome.
