My favourite word in English is "blastocyst."
In Japanese, 「幽霊会社」.
My favourite non-word is "extoplastifisticify."

If I did, we'd all be pursued by ghosts, but the pronunciation is yuureigaisha and it's not dirty. Favourite French word: cheval-de-frise (not dirty). German: Mindestgeschwindigkeit (not dirty). Russian: буферастая (dirty, but only marginally).

"Bakayaro" doesn't have an English equivalent, bakayaro. It's interesting to see the various ways it gets subbed in movies.

I think my favorite word is "bereft".
Quotes added to prevent a Vaudevillian sketch that kicks off when someone asks "Bereft of what?"
If I can bump this up to two words, I've also kind of been thinking about how the phrase "Cellar Door" is thought to be the most euphoniously beautiful pair of words in the English language. I admit it does have a certain ring to it.
