As it happens, I'm in the process of translating a set of game rules for a guy I met through the Geek. I don't see anything I'm familiar with in a quick scan of your titles, but it's pretty extensive. At first glance it looks like you're perhaps into the more Euro side of the hobby? Edit: This is fairly close to an MST game . . .

Haha! Certainly has the look of one of those old '50s cinema posters! Yeah, I'm a bit of a collector...as you can see. Over 800 without even thinking about it. I say colelctor. My wife says sickness. Euros are great, although I probably prefer the "fun factor" of Ameritrash a tad more... I am an equal opportunist though. Gaming is good regardless Better than work, no?

I love board games!
One of the few "traditions" we have in my family is Christmas Eve game night. Pick out a couple of games, make a bunch of snack food, throw on a movie with explosions, and hup to it. Despite being a pretty computer-glued household, we still will pick up new games at the drop of a hat.

I was digging around in storage and found a few weird/cool board games I managed to keep intact for decades. I thought about taking pics of them and sharing. I have a pretty nifty X-Men game from the 90s that had little mini-statues of 18 characters.

Huge tabletop gamer. Board, Pen and Paper, CCG. Unfortunately, when I left NC I lost my entire gaming crew besides my wife and with the exception of the Shadowrun CCG, 2 player games don't really move me. Games I play(ed): Shadowrun CCG M:TG Vampire CCG Hero Quest Dominion Elixir Fluxx Zombies!!! & Humans!!! Tomb Pandemic (probably my favorite currently) Ninja Burger Smallworld Infinite City Betrayal at House on the Hill War of the Ring Zombietown 7 Wonders Carcassonne St. Petersburg Dragonheart (forgot about this. fun, quick, easy 2 player only game) And then any number of P&P games throughout the years: D&D, Shadowrun, Car Wars, Marvel etc. If you guys haven't heard of www.brettspielwelt.com, it's a great way to play board/card games online. It's better if you have a core of friends to play with, the interface takes some getting used to, and there's a lot of German text to sort through, but still a lot of fun.

Yeah, I am a big supporter of kick-starter stuff! I got myself not only the Abomination level for Zombicide, but the other zombie game that was running somewhat concurrently called Zpocalypse. Here's a link to their BGG page. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/108665/zpocalypseNice collection oldmanmerton! BTW...Pandemic really fell flat for me and my group (most of us...there are over 12 gamers in my group) But, boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/65532/defenders-of-the-realm has been a huge success for my family and I! Super tense fantasy based "upgrade" of Pandemic. I'd certainly love to see some pics Torgo! You may have some gems there that are worth something. Financially or sentimentally siamesesin, that's what it's all about! Good times with friends & family...

Glad to see that hardcopy gaming still has its fans. I tend not to look at this section too much, as "gaming" these days tends to equate to "electronic."
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but my own favoured boardgames are sims like the classic SPI put out. One reason that I never liked the computer ones as much, for all their obvious strengths, was that tinkering with the game rules was always at least as much fun as the play, and I was never much of a programmer.

That seems to be the complaint I hear a lot. It's uh...not a game that expects you to win very often. Especially when you play on the hardest setting with all the expansion stuff. That said, I like that it's a co-op game. So few of those around. Nice change of pace from all the cutthroat stuff we usually play. Infinite City is one of the newer additions to my collection and *I* love it. But nobody else really seems to. Haven't played Defenders. Is 85 bucks the normal price or does that site have it inflated? Pretty steep. I paid that much for War of the ring and that was kind of a steal at the time. But generally consider that a rip.

$85 is too much for sure. here's a link to an online shop I use (too often, hehe) www.coolstuffinc.com/p/Board%20Games/Defenders+of+the+Realm+Board+Game/Acc-FDDDefendersoftheRealm/#Defenders%20of%20the%20Realm%20Board%20GamePandemic just felt flat to us, I suppose. Plus, sometimes coop games can fall into a trap where 1 player tries (sometimes successfully) to dominate the actions. "You need to go there and do that. I'll go here and do this. Next turn, you'll go here and accomplish this". Sometimes that is a problem with the game...limited options, obvious next moves, etc. Sometimes that's a problem with certain players (control freaks, hehe) Infinite City is fun! Due to how many games I (and my group) have it doesn't hit the table that often. But I think it's a worthwhile addition!

I play the odd game of Arkahm Horror. My buddy has most of the expansions, so if we have eight hours to kill, we crack it open. It is extremely fun.
While the character selection is randomized, I always have good luck playing the Dilettante.
I'm sure Munchkin doesn't count, but I play that too.

My wife loves Munchkin, but I prefer Ninja Burger!
Frankly, me and Steve Jackson aren't on speaking terms until he brings back a revamped P&P Car Wars. Love the guy though.
I love games with lengthy setup/play but they try our group's patience sometimes. We all love Tomb, but man that game can take forever.
And me and my best friend are basically the only ones that play Shadowrun CCG, because we've set up an intricate draft system that baffles everyone else and never use pre-made decks because we own 5-10 of every card made for it and like the randomness it gives us.
