I am just so angry at the horrible, senseless tragedy in all this. When I heard of it, my first thought was of my sister, who lives in Aurora (she came to the 2007 meetup with me, if any of you remember). The hour or so when I didn't hear from her that morning, I just felt sick. But then her boyfriend contacted me on FB and said they were fine, and then I got an email from her. Their house is less than a mile from the shooter's apartment, and my sister works in the same hospital where the shooter had been studying, so this one hits really close to home for me, how easily it could have been her. I'm glad you are okay, Mr. A, and my thoughts are with the victims.

Glad to hear you and your family are ok Mr. A, and your sister too EC. I first about it when I was leaving work Friday morning and my first though was "Again?!". I think the best way to describe my feelings is I am so exaperated by this. And the really sad thing is I no longer am shocked by any of this.

God God, that's so f-cked up. Going to the movies should be an enjoyable experience, your biggest concern should be the overpriced food and drinks at a movie theater, not whether some nutjob will kill you. Glad you and yours are okay Mr. A, my thoughts and prayers are with the families.
