www.latimes.com/news/obituaries/la-me-michael-clarke-duncan-20120904,0,1567203.story I was sorry to hear this. He was just in Scotland with Craig Ferguson not that terribly long ago. Once again, it's too young. I forgot he was nominated for an Oscar for The Green Mile. I haven't seen that flick in 10 years and I'm thinking I should probably look to remedy that. Rest well, sir.

I always liked that guy but I never knew his name. 54, too young to go from a heart attack. But that's the way it rolls.

This is bullpoopie. Complete bullpoopie. I loved Duncan, and he seemed like a great guy. 54? That's just...pisses me off.
I just bought the Green Mile too. I haven't seen it in a few years and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. But after this, I'm definitely going to have to in his honor.

Rest in Peace Michael Clarke Duncan It's been said before but 54 is way too young. Sad news indeed. I really liked his work.

I watched the Green Mile yesterday before I went to bed. Terrific film (personally I like it more than Darabont's Shawshank Redemption, but both are fantastic). Duncan's performance is sensational. He deserved every ounce of praise he got for it.
The man was such a great find. You know how hard it is to find someone with a phisique like that who also has acting chops? He was cast as the Kingpin in Daredevil in spite of his racial difference for a reason, and that's because he was litterally the only actor that could have done such a role justice. And he was one of the sole highlights in Green Lantern last year, as he was perfectly casted as Kilowog.
We lost a truly unique resource Hollywood could always rely on. This is such a shame.

Talented actor. Just heard an interview with him a few months ago on Opie and Anthony. RIP
