It was another goodie... though the middle section sagged, because nothing was happening in the movie, except for disturbing images of Sharks being killed (and we get a nice closeup of of ones dying gasps... not pleasant) I'm a little surprised they didn't edit that section a bit (they've cut other film(s)). Regardless, the release bounces back after that.

I am buying them all though I've fallen hopelessly behind in watching. This one gets moved up the "must watch" list based on premise alone.

Poor guy was in a Herzog film, but frigging Puma Man is his legacy thanks to Mst. Speaking of Herzog.... I wonder if after Triangle and Fitzcarraldo, he worried about being typecast as ship engineers?

Watched this over the weekend. Hilarious movie/riff. René Cardona Jr was a genius.
"Each man is a god, each man is free..." so says Gordon aka Vadinho. But not in this movie. John Houston never looked so bad and tang never looked so good. The doll is a trip. The whole thing is a trip... a good one.

Did they give John Huston booze or money or free medical care to do this movie? ?
