I don't know why I'm posting this. Probably because I'm bored and this news item took me back to the good old early 1990s. www.nydailynews.com/life-style/eats/sold-jug-mcjordan-bbq-sauce-bought-9-995-article-1.1184547I seem to remember commercials for the McJordan but I can't remember if any McDonald's around here had any (we would have been in the limited market area). Sounds decent enough, as those things go, anyway. Ah, fast food of the past. Anyone else remember some of the classics that are no longer with us, such as the McDLT? The original Monster Burger from Hardee's from the late 1990s? The Boss from Hardee's? I think Wendy's had something akin to a salad bar but not nearly as healthful. Must be because I live 30 miles from the nearest McDonald's that this stuff interests me. And now I'm hungry.

I love nostalgia (seems to be big with my generation too). I also love reading Wikipedia. Two great tastes that taste great together.Besides the article on former items, it's also interesting to read all about the strange products they offer in different countries.

Good link, Frameous, I knew I had seen a list like that somewhere. So help me, I want to be able to go into my nearest McDonald's and order a Bacon Bacon McBacon. Here's a link to some items in Japan. I agree, these kinds of things are interesting to review. It feels like it's from another dimension. Familiar, but alien. Maybe I just need to travel more finance.yahoo.com/news/japan-s-epic-fast-food-war-inspired-these-crazy-menu-items.html?page=allStill wish I could find something concrete on the differences between the original Monster Burger at Hardee's and the current one. I remember ordering the original twice and finished neither of them. This was in college when I could eat anything in practically any amount. I know it had to be bigger than the current version.

That is seriously one of my favorite commercials ever.
